“The ability to broadcast concerts into every corner of the globe and connect directly with fans through Facebook is the most significant opportunity that can happen within the entertainment industry today,” said Ridgeline’s executive producer, Charlie Stuart Gay. “We are fortunate that technology can complement the producers and artists to pay tribute in a manner that is as utterly unique as the legend that will forever remain ‘The King of Pop.’”
The show lineup includes the Black Eyed Peas, Leona Lewis, Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, Smokey Robinson, Gladys Knight, Ne-Yo, Jennifer Hudson, Craig David, Alexandra Burke, Alien Ant Farm, JLS, Diversity, Pixie Lott and a special video contribution from Beyonce.
Dr. Conrad Murray is currently on trial for involuntary manslaughter in connection to the late Jackson’s 2009 death. The case is being broadcast live on HLN.

My 2 Cents:
I have been riveted to my TV since the trial began and cannot believe the pure sensational draw of both The Dr. Conrad Murray trial and the Michael Jackson Tribute coinciding. I know it’s an obvious move to keep MJ’s memory focused on the positives, but I am so drawn to the entire negative at the same time.
